Code of Conduct

How we work together to make this community useful for everyone

Our Commitment

We're building a community where SMB leaders can openly share what's working, what's not, and get practical help from people dealing with the same challenges. This code of conduct keeps the space useful for everyone.

Meeting Participation

  • Show up consistently. Regular participation matters — you're not just attending, you're contributing to a peer group that depends on your input.
  • Come prepared to contribute. Share your experiences, ask real questions, and engage. Passive attendance doesn't help you or the group.
  • Respect the clock. Meetings start and end on time. Everyone's busy — don't waste it.

Community Values

  • Be honest about what's not working. The most useful conversations happen when people share failures, not just wins. If you're struggling, say so — that's why we're here.
  • Keep it in the room. What's shared about business challenges stays here. Respect confidentiality.
  • Help, don't sell. This isn't a networking event for your services. Genuine resource sharing is welcome; pitching is not.
  • Include everyone. Welcome new members, draw out quieter voices, and make space for different perspectives.

Professional Conduct

  • Stay relevant. Keep discussions focused on AI implementation and business challenges.
  • Be constructive. When someone shares a problem, offer solutions or alternatives. Criticism without help isn't useful.
  • Respect where people are. We come from different industries and experience levels. What's obvious to you might be new to someone else, and vice versa.

Digital Community (Teams Channel)

  • Engage thoughtfully. The channel is for collaboration between meetings, not noise. Ask questions, share resources, but keep it useful.
  • Share generously. Tools, articles, and insights that helped you are welcome — especially with context on why they mattered.

Accountability

Members who consistently disrupt the community or violate these guidelines may be asked to leave. The goal is simple: maintain a space where everyone can get real value from each other.

By joining, you're committing to help create the kind of community you'd want to be part of — one focused on honest conversation, practical help, and shared progress.

Sounds like your kind of community?
